Blinsky's Toy Shop

A cramped shop on the main street of Vallaki, directly south of the Blue Water Inn in an orange-roofed building. Blanked by arched, dirty windows showing jumbled toy displays. A wooden sign shaped like a rocking horse bears bees on both sides and the slogan Is No Fun, Is No Greenski.

Inside

Heavy with merchandise. The relevant items: mostly nine copper. Blinsky makes toys that reflect a Barovian childhood: headless dolls with sackfuls of swappable heads (one has its eyes and mouth stitched shut), a miniature gallows with a trap door and weighted hanged man, nesting dolls that get smaller and older until the innermost is a mummified corpse, bat mobiles, a wind-up merry-go-round with wolves chasing children, a Strahd ventriloquist dummy.

One doll, not for sale: special order for Isaac, henchman of the Burgomaster. It is intended to look like the woman from Isaac's dreams. It looks like Ireena Kolyana.

Blinsky works here with a monkey in a ballerina tutu. The monkey will shit on you if given an opportunity.

Notable Information

• Milovaj purchased a wind-up merry-go-round here about a week before Session 11, with an unusual amount of money
• Milovaj has since been frequenting Henrik van der Voort's coffin shop with no obvious reason
