Known Information

Daughter of Madam Eva. Keeper of the camp's fireside stories. She was mid-story when the party arrived — recounting the tale of the foreign wizard who led a peasant revolt against Strahd roughly a year ago. She welcomed the party to the camp, pointed them to Toma, and confirmed her mother would see them shortly.

She was the one who recognized the party as outsiders worth trusting, at least enough to sit by the fire.

The Story She Told

A charismatic foreign wizard arrived in Barovia and rallied the people against Strahd. They marched on the castle. The peasant army fled when Strahd appeared; a few stood their ground and were never seen again. The wizard dueled Strahd personally at a precipice above the River Ivlis falls, surviving boulders and lightning before Strahd took him directly. He was thrown a thousand feet. Yelena climbed down to the river to look for the body. The River Ivlis had already taken him.
